THIS DISPLAY IS OF BANANA-SHAPED TROLLING WEIGHTS
WITH A BRASS LOOP EMBEDDED IN EACH END.
THE WEIGHTS ARE MARKED:
"2", "4", "6", "8" & "10"
FOR THE WEIGHT IN OUNCES OF EACH.
THIS DISPLAY IS
NOT
COMMERCIALLY-MADE.
RATHER, IT IS HAND-MADE BY A TACKLE CRAFTSMAN,
APPARENTLY TO SELL HIS HOME-MADE TROLLING WEIGHTS
IN A LOCAL TACKLE SHOP.
THE DISPLAY BEARS A SMALL TYPEWRITTEN PRICE LIST
THAT HAS
SIGNIFICANT
AGE/SUN FADING.

Found in an estate sale in North Carolina.
Function/Use:
Hand-made display board for selling amateur-made fishing weights.
Structure/Composition:
Board is made of wood with five (5) weights (2oz, 4oz, 6oz, 8oz & 10oz) hanging from eye-loops screwed into the board.
Usage/Wear-and-Tear:
