Vintage Guatemalan (Nebaj) faja/sash featuring quetzal pattern

Vintage faja from Nebaj, Guatemala. I purchased this in San Francisco in the 1990s. It was used then. I am unsure of its age. I have kept it in storage since I purchased it. From a smoke-free, pet-free home.
This is a lovely item with extraordinary detail. You can see the detail of the handmade stitching from the photos. Also, you can see the pattern of the quetzal, the national bird of Guatemala, as well as diamonds, and another animal.

Dimensions: Approx 104 inches long. Slightly less than 2.5 inches wide.
