They are used and not perfect and have not been abused - typical nicks as pedals will get
Use by the seller for urban-utility riding - these solved a bike fit problem with a Surly I have that's steerer tube was cut short and so bars were too low. The flattest of pedals position the saddle just enough lowered so the bar height was no longer too low.
By Tioga's description - they don't intend these for use in Downhill/Freeride riding.

An impossibly thin pedal made possible by Tioga’s ZEROaxle bearing system. The MT-ZERO's body measures no more than 7mm thin (4mm at the thinnest), helping it to amplify ground clearance, increase foot stability and improve pedaling efficiency over conventional pedals. Not for DH or Freeride use
OVERSIZED BEARING SYSTEM
Should the bearings wear down, simply replace the ZERO axle bearing assembly, available individually in right or left side. The ZERO axle bearing assembly is compatible with all ZERO axle pedal systems.
