SNAP ON IM75 IM75-13 ENGAGEMENT DOGS REPAIR KIT WITH GASKET, O'RINGS, OIL SEAL

This ebay Buy-It-Now offering provides (1) pair of IM75-13 engagement dogs.
These are new OEM parts sold as a pair that come without factory sealed packaging as shown above. These dogs will fit all Snap on IM75 3/4" drive impact wrenches. The hammer pins and frames for each tool above should be inspected for wear and cracks if these dogs are changed. These new dogs should be used a new mated pairs for optimum tool performance. I also include a new back cover gasket, a new anvil oil seal, a front end plate o'ring and a new quad ring seal for the reverse valve spool to make this a complete repair kit.
*One symptom that engagement dogs or hammers are worn out is that the while tool builds rpm (so internal binding and worn vanes are not an issue) and hits solidly on the fastener it will take a fair amount of trigger pull time to loosen or tighten the bolt or nut. An anvil used with worn dogs takes on excessive wear or chipping either on the internal contact points to the dogs or on the square drive by starting to round the 4 drive end corners. Check to make sure that you have 90 PSI to the tool with full trigger depression and that the inlet screen is not plugged, that the tool air fitting is a high volume air flow type and that your air hose is not internally fragmenting causing air delivery problems to the tool. Amflo CP7 style or Morse equivalent is my standard fitting recommendation. Always change engagement dogs in pairs and make sure the anvil is deburred on any slightly chipped contact points with the dogs. If you are not sure change the anvil and the dogs together or risk shattering the hammer frame with excessive and prolonged hammering.
Installation (see above photo details) for IM75.
*Make sure to rotate the dogs and align them so that the single hammer pin slot (on the outside perimeter) faces toward the front of the tool.
*Make sure to rotate and align the wider hammer pin slot (on the outside perimeter) toward the rear splines.
*This positioning counterbalances the motion of the hammer frame assembly inside the tool and assures that the tool will work the way it was engineered to perform.
