ONE HUNDRED DOLLAR 6 1/2 % FIRST MORTGAGE GOLD BOND, AGAR PACKING & PROVISION CO

Description

This is a 15 year gold bond which was issue June 1,1922.  Although they have been punched (clipped) the final 11 coupons are still attached to the document.  The final coupon, number 30, was payable June 1937. The document is in very nice condition, having been stored away in my grandfather's desk for many years. There is some soiling on the folded up exposed surfaces and there is a two inch clean cut on the bottom right corner area, below the top signature and to the right of the second signature.  The bond was printed on heavy paper by the American Bank Note Company, lithographer.  The issuer was The Agar Packing & Provision Co., Chicago, Illinois.
