Offered for sale in this Buy-It-Now fixed price listing is (1) Ingersoll Rand 261-A40 complete tool housing with 1710B-329 (wide open/non-adjustable) forward/reverse valve and trigger with throttle valve system. These Ingersoll Rand housings (as 3 separate lots of one complete tool housing per lot) will work as an exact replacement part on Ingersoll Rand impact wrench models 261, 3/4" drive and 271, 1" drive.

*Special tool advisory: More than 10 years ago IR stopped selling adjustable pressure regulator style forward and reverse valves. Their current literature has not been updated about this fact. So, yes, they are misleading/misrepresenting you about their own product capabilities in the very literature they provide with their tool. You cannot buy or order adjustable pressure regulator valves for this tool from IR. They are obsolete.
This is a factory new IR261 tool taken out of the box and dismantled specifically for this listing. If you need pressure regulation from an impact wrench then you must add an external regulator to the air line connection. This is not a refurbished product. It is not a previously used and returned item. It is factory new as offered and modified to the extent that my unique listing provides this many IR parts cobbled together by their factory overseas in China. I also check the throttle valve for ZERO air leakage and normal operation before the tool is packed for shipment.
