One of several Edison companies associated with Edison's development of electric batteries (which were manufactured for mining lamps, train lighting and signaling, submarines, electric vehicles, and other uses). The Edison Storage Battery Garage was located at 247-251 West 35th Street in New York City. It was designed as a battery recharging station for commercial electric trucks. Certificate is in EF condition.
